Secret Garden

A conceptual project that starts with the analysis of the movie "The Secret Garden" and the requirement to use transparent textiles applying embroidery techniques. The film portrays a dark and sad atmosphere, which contrasts with the hope of the main character, a girl who, with her innocence, purity, and dreams, makes an abandoned garden bloom.

The concepts of childhood are translated into a bombé silhouette and an elevated empire waist cut. The pastel color palette reinforces the concept of innocence which contrasts with black details that suggest the dark side.
